Linear Coverage Option

The Rock Mattress consists of 50mm-200mm graded aggregate contained within an outer 40mm mesh sheet made from marine grade nylon.

A mesh envelope is placed into a mould and filled with aggregate.  The envelope is closed with the lid which is then tied down. Lifting is achieved with the use of webbing slings or alternatively rope, sewn integrally into the mesh sheet.

The Rock Mattresses are available in a variety of thicknesses, weights and sizes to suit many applications. The size and volume will be designed to exhibit the best characteristics of flexibility and stability demanded by the site specific requirements.

PRP

Precise Rock Placement Unit

The PRP units consist of 3mm polyester, 25mm mesh with 14mm high strength lifting ropes. The stone filled net unit is designed to encase the stone preventing it from breaking down or migrating from its intended location.

PRP boasts a one point lift and easily positioned by diver or ROV for a multitude of applications within the Oil &Gas, OWF and Marine Civil sectors.

Multiple units can be deployed at the same time using Pipeshield’s lifting beam.

Can be installed as a temporary or permanent solution for subsea asset protection.

The units will overtime encourage marine life and become a permanent habitat.
